Welcome to my Book Review Blog! Enjoy your visit! I review books of various Genres, including General Non-Fiction, Spiritual, Reflective, and Literary Fiction. My reviews exclude Horror, Vampire/Werewolf Paranormal, and Science Fiction. All category boundaries may be blurred at times, but one thing that is cast in stone: I do not receive compensation for my Book Reviews. Although, I may receive a book for free, in exchange for an honest review. I enjoy all things book!! And who knows, I may occasionally post personal musings on various topics! Enjoy my Blog!

This piece of writing will assist the internet people
for setting up new blog or even a weblog from start to end.
Right away I am ready to do my breakfast, after having my breakfast coming again to read further news.
Hurrah, that’s what I was looking for, what a information! present here at this website, thanks admin of this web site.
Hi there, You’ve done an incredible job. I will definitely digg it and personally suggest to my friends. I’m sure
they will be benefited from this site.
Hi Pat! I thought I’d left a comment but realized that was on “my” site not yours. lol I wanted to say thanks again for stopping by and I did reply to your comments on both sites – never did get the subscribe button to work on “Walking Back 2 Me” chitchat page but I’ll keep trying. You have a beautiful website here! I love to read but I’ve spent so much time writing lately that I haven’t had a lot of time to read anything outside of bible study. Thought when I do read, I tend to use my Kindle instead of hard backs or paper backs. My allergy to dust does better with none paper related books – I was quite a gatherer of books but had to get rid of them. Okay, now I’m rambling! Again, thank you and I hope to see you again.
Blessings, Rebecca
Do you have any suggestions of a good book that my brofyiend and I could read together? We were talking about our quiet times the other day, and thought it might be a good way for us to get to know another side of eachother. I’m not sure if we’re ready to take on Love and Respect yet, any other thoughts?
Hi, Aleksandar -
Not knowing you I am going to suggest three different books, which are among my favourites:
1) “My Utmost for His Highest” – Oswald Chambers
This is a daily devotional that has held my interest for many years. It was written in the early 1900′s by a very wise and spiritual man. It is written in old English, so that may or may not be attractive to you. There was an updated version published a few years ago. The English is easier to read, but to me, some insights are lost by the new language. But, it may be a place to start. I usually read it in the evening, and reflect on how that day’s passage actually applies to my day.
2) “Joshua” – Joseph Girzone
This is a novel, and is a very easy read. However, there are definitely parallels between Joshua and Jesus – which makes the message very valuable.
3) “The Return of the Prodigal Son” – Henri Nouwen
This is Henri Girzone’s in depth analysis of the Parable of the Prodigal Son. It is a very powerful book, that could easily be worked through in sections.
I hope these thoughts are helpful, and I wish you many blessings as you and your boyfriend travel this new route. Very valuable to your relationship.
If I can be of any future assistance, you are welcome to contact me direct to my email: madley (AT) cogeco (DOT) ca
To help both of you, I would suggest that, regardless of which book you choose, be sure you each have your own copy.
Be Blessed,
Patricia

A trip down memory lane is alawys great except that I have ripped out my very first knitted top as the sleeves are just too uneven in tension; resulting in one being tighter than the other!
Hi, Harjit -
Thank you for visiting my blog.
However, I most humbling admit not understanding your comment
Patricia
I enjoyed going through your blog. And I also did the ‘Which Austen heroine are you?’ quiz
Good fun! I’m Elinor Dashwood as well
Glad you enjoyed your visit through my blog, Geetanjali – that is truly good to hear. It is especially nice to welcome another ‘Elinor’!
